My name is Annaleah Glick and I am a doula, an educator and an advocate. I am passionate about helping new parents identify their natural instincts for birth and new parenting, and believes all people have a right to compassionate care.
I am certified as a childbirth doula through DONA International, I am an ICEA Certified Childbirth Educator (ICCE), and I serve as the project director for Pacifica Family Fund, which was developed to ensure everyone, no matter their background or circumstances, has access to safe, compassionate, and personal maternal care. After my own children were born I learned firsthand how crucial it is for all families to feel well-supported, educated, and safe as they embark on their journey towards parenthood.
I recognize that my experiences with my own births and my birth work are rooted in the privileges I inherently have as a white woman. Those privileges are not share by all families, particularly by black women. At the end of each quarter I donate 10% of my birth work proceeds to the Black Mamas Matter Alliance.
